What is a beard balm?


I found an ad on facebook selling the beard shaper - a comb used to shape your beard (lining) instead of someone else doing it for you. When I bought the pack, it comes with two other products, the beard balm and the beard oil. I dont know the use of the beard balm so I decided to look for answers. So this is what I found out on my quest to find the answers to beard balm

According to beard wiki it contains shea butter, essential oils, carrier oils, and fragrances. What are these things?
Shea butter - a fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree

Well Im only interested in Shea butter. So what does it do?

The purpose as mentioned on the site is to "Keep the beard hair soft and healthy, provide very slight control over the beard"

So there you have it.



After using it for a few days, it actually works! A friend of mine also advised me that it cuts down the itchiness on your chin and cheeks after you shave. My beard is now soft - even though its not that bushy, I trim mine from time to time, but the tips are now soft and smooth.

If you're 23 like me and hate shaving, I suggest you get yourself a pack and use it!

MY JOURNEY INTO ADULTHOOD - Part 1

It has been a pretty busy time of my life in the past years 2016-2021. I was busy with work, trying to find what works for me in this new life. I've been through so many crossroads and choices that I had to make over these few years outside of my comfy parents laps. Here's a bit of reflection over those years (If I can remember correctly). OCTOBER 2016  After I left university, I decided not to go home, but to pursue employment in PNG's most densely populated city of Port Moresby - the city of the filthy rich, the struggling middle-class, thugs and cultural and societal misfits. For me, it was a place to find a decent job. It wasn't too long before I figured it's not as easy as it was presented to us in the comforts of a lecture room. I bet all under-grads had the same dream as I had, thinking we've made it in life going into a University and it should be all downhill from there, getting a good job owning a house a car. YouTube as a YoutTuber part II

From my last post - I was just starting. I didnt know what to expect from being a beginer, ie 'Brukim bush' as we say in Tok Pisin. Anyways for PNG Fighting Compilation videos obviously cannot work on my channel. I got 2 strikes and have to wait two weeks to upload more videos - sad story for a beginer. Lesson learnt, next time you want to try something new, make sure to ready all the guidlines (Especially Community Guidlines) so you know what you upload does not violate any of them. The idea to criticize memes may not be a good idea since I'd like to build an audience. One thing I found is that, once you know how to post attractive and interesting content, this improves your posts on other social media platforms - so whatever I'm learning from YouTube is excercised on my Facebook Pages and Instagram. Information is key, learn as much as you can so that you can be able to provide to your audience as much information as needed. I've watched a whole lot of v
